Introduction

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) practicing couples counseling and individual therapy via telehealth for clients throughout Maine. I am providing online sessions only at this time and am a Certified Tele-Mental Health Provider. Whether you are needing short or long-term therapy, my goal is to help you develop ways to take care of yourself and your relationships. I enjoy working with couples to improve communication and gain skills to process conflict and find healthy compromise in a productive way. In individual therapy sessions I specialize in relationship and family issues, life transitions, coping with anxiety and depression and connecting to a deeper meaning and purpose in life. I have 16 years of experience as a Social Worker in NYC, London (UK) and Portland, ME, where I provided counseling to a wide range of clients. I tailor my person-centered approach to your unique needs, pulling from evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness practices. I utilize Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy in my work with couples counseling. Finding the right therapist can feel daunting. Please contact me if you would like to schedule a free 15 minute consultation about couples counseling or individual therapy. * For individual counseling, I am in network with Maine Community Health Options (MCHO) and Behavioral HealthCare Program (BHCP). If I am out of network with your insurance, I can usually provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Please note at this time I am not accepting insurance for couples counseling. Please contact me with any payment related questions to clarify.
