Introduction

Hello, and thank you for your interest in my services! I've known since age fourteen that I wanted to do this work, and it's a genuine honor to be here doing it. I believe that from time to time all of us find ourselves wedged into unhelpful patterns of thinking, feeling and relating, and whether or not the cause is obvious, we do know something's just "not right" and we could use some additional perspective getting past it. If you need immediate symptom relief, I'll help you find the right combination of coping strategies and resources to tackle your day-to-day struggles. If you seek true ingrained change in your thinking, relationships, and behaviors then here's the deal: you bring the patience and determination, and I'll bring the tools and guidance. Together we can truly "rewire" those old thought-habits and create the peace of mind you seek. My style is one of authenticity, energy, and when called-for, humor! I work primarily with with individual teens and adults, and I'm trained in both short and long-term therapy methods. Feel free to reach out by phone or through the "contact" link (above). Please note that due to the nature of my schedule I'm able to respond more efficiently to written inquiries than I am telephone calls. Thank you for considering my services as you or your loved one embarks on this powerful process of therapy. *A NOTE ABOUT TELE-THERAPY: virtual therapy can be just as, if not more, effective than in-office therapy. However, my ability to provide effective teletherapy to a client is contingent on the following: that the client value their therapy hour as I do, and that my client value their own privacy as I would in a traditional office setting. In other words, I expect my clients to find a physical space away from others' earshot, and that they do their best to minimize any potential for distraction- technological or otherwise. If either of these cannot be accomplished, you will likely benefit more from an office-based therapist.
