Hillary Buckholtz

ADHD Specialist Hillary Buckholtz Marriage and Family Therapy, PC
Specialties: ADD/ADHD, Anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Self Esteem

Introduction

I work with people who are painfully impacted by ADHD, neurodivergence, anxiety, executive functioning difficulties, procrastination, creative blocks, imposter syndrome; C-PTSD, narcissistic & emotional abuse, codependency, people-pleasing, relationship issues, family conflict, estrangement; and OCD (including Pure-O & R-OCD). While I enjoy working with clients from all fields, I specialize in treating creative professionals & artists. As a creative, you may be building your career or considering a total pivot. Regardless of where you are now, the unknowns of where you'll end up can be anxiety-provoking. Maybe now more than ever. I have a long background in the entertainment industry and a unique understanding of the complexities of coping with the pressures and anxieties of navigating a creative life and career. My personality style may be best described as relaxed, non-judgemental, collaborative, nurturing, engaged, fairly direct, and sometimes humorous. Sessions will be tailored to your specific needs, goals, and priorities, with an emphasis on client-centered, strength-based, LGBTQIA+ affirming, queer-friendly, neurodiversity-affirming, anti-racist care. My hope is that our work together will bring more clarity, connection, creativity, satisfaction, and meaning into your life, work, and relationships. If you work or have worked in the music industry, ask me about how you may be eligible for grants for free therapy. I offer superbills for reimbursement and can walk you through the process of submitting with your insurer so you can get as much money back as possible.
