I am a 5th generation Montana native with 25 years of experience in the mental health field. In my role as a helping professional, I strive to emulate the values of empathy, honesty, and integrity. I graduated from the University of Montana in 2002 with my Bachelor's of Social Work and from Boise State University in 2019 with my Master's of Social Work. Over the years, I have worked with clients across the lifespan with many different mental health issues. This experience includes case management and mental health support in the medical social work arena and individual, family, and group counseling for teens and adults. At Rugged Terrain Mental Health, my focus is on clients ages 12 through adulthood dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and challenges with peers. I primarily use trauma therapy (EMDR), cognitive behavioral techniques, and work to improve coping skills. I look forward to meeting you and learning how I can help you reach your mental health goals.
