- Evaluations tailored to the individual and referral question - Consultation for individuals with cognitive concerns or their families - Brief individual therapy focused on adjustment to cognitive impairment, compensatory techniques, fostering healthy cognitive aging, etc. - Independent medical evaluations, capacity and fitness for duty evaluations - Determination of need for college accommodations and/or accommodations on standardized testing (LSAT, MCAT, bar exam, etc). - Medicolegal Services - FAA Evaluations Dr. Rossetti provides comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations as well as individualized consultations for adults concerned about cognitive changes in themselves or a loved one. Her overall goal is to help patients, families, and providers better understand how an individual's brain processes information, how this affects day-to-day functioning, and what can be done to improve or adapt to these changes. A primary area of focus is distinguishing normal aging from mild cognitive impairment and dementia (e.g., Alzheimer’s, Lewy body, vascular, behavioral and language variants, mixed etiologies, etc.) and she frequently sees individuals with a family history of dementia to establish a baseline for future comparison. Dr. Rossetti has extensive experience in concussion, Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders, ADHD, stroke, brain tumor, autoimmune disorders such as multiple sclerosis, and is interested in women’s cognitive health. She is a FAA-approved neuropsychologist for those in need of aeromedical evaluation. Dr. Rossetti specializes in the neuropsychological assessment of adults with known or suspected cognitive impairment to aid in diagnostic clarification and treatment planning. Dr. Rossetti joined the faculty at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2012, conducting clinical evaluations, teaching, and supervising interns, residents, and fellows. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and an active researcher with over 40 peer-reviewed publications in scientific journals. She is board certified in Clinical Neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology. She obtained her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident and received the Carmen Miller Michael Award for scholarship and citizenship. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling Psychology from UT Southwestern. Dr. Rossetti completed her internship at UTSW followed by a two year post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Virginia where she served as Chief Fellow. Dr. Rossetti is involved in several professional organizations. She was appointed a Fellow in the National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN), where she also serves on the Board of Directors. She is also a member of the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology (AACN), the International Neuropsychological Society (INS), and the American Psychological Association (APA).
