I understand loss from an up-close and personal perspective. I was widowed young and know the challenges of being alone and afraid and thrust into a whole new world I never dreamed of living in. I understand the pain that comes with sudden, or traumatic loss. Grief is the price we pay for love, without love, there would be no tears. I have walked beside others as they trusted me with their grief stories. It is a tough journey and it would be my privilege to not let you walk it alone. I also have EMDR training and have worked with complex PTSD, destructive anger, and dual diagnosis clients and human trafficking survivors. I love to work with individuals and couples. I utilize the John Gottman method for couples. My counseling style is personalized to your needs. I like to use a blend of mostly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.
