I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist committed to helping emerging adults learn to value themselves, build confidence and strengthen their sense of agency. My work focuses on celebrating your uniqueness and strengths, targeting harmful thoughts, behaviors, and beliefs about yourself and the future. I believe in taking a genuine and collaborative approach to helping clients reach the life they want to live. I aim to listen to understand the cultural lenses from which clients view and make predictions about themselves, others, and the world. I am a lifelong student, open and curious to learning and applying new tools and insights through continuing education, personal growth, and open dialogue to strengthen skills, awareness, understanding, and empathy for my clients. I will help you to create a safe space where I hope you can be your authentic self. We will move at your speed that feels comfortable. I like to take the approach as your co-captain, ally and supporter. However, If the situation requires it, I may be more direct and challenge you as your coach, respectfully. We may find ourselves laughing, smiling, sitting in silence or tearing up. Therapy is a process and can come with benefits and risks, like everything else in life. If you’re wiling to give it a try, you can schedule a free consultation by submitting an appointment request. Feel free to email me if you have any questions.
