Those of us who have experienced developmental and relational trauma are constantly finding ourselves in complicated relationships. Maybe you identify with codependency, complicated grief, or are suffering from other intimacy disorders (such as anxious, avoidant, or disorganized attachment style). It may seem like you’re navigating the world unable to truly esteem and care for yourself in meaningful ways. Dysfunction at work or school, financial challenges, and perhaps declining physical health has prevented you from living a full and whole-hearted life. Today is different- by finding your way here you are choosing recovery. Together, we can work on challenging old beliefs that may no longer serve you while you create a new way of knowing and being known. My practice is focused on helping women recover and heal. I draw on a range of treatment modalities including Post Induction Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and other parts-focused approaches. Experiential therapeutic interventions are at the core of change for many of the clients I work with. As for my formal training, I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2003. I am a Certified-Clinical Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs Social Worker with extensive experience in treating individuals with substance use disorder. It is clear to me that offering individuals grief therapy is vital to all aspects of recovery. So, in 2020 I became a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist. It has proven to be one of the best clinical decisions I have ever made. As a consultant, I use my long history of professional experience in national outreach to advise others on choosing help, therapy, or treatment they may be seeking for themselves or someone they love. As a Social Worker, I am truly passionate about connecting individuals to what they need and want as they seek recovery and transformation.
