Introduction

ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS AT PRACTICE JAN. 10, 2022 at the practice! Is life stressing you out? I don't just help my clients develop skills to manage stress effectively but also work through and heal from what is the underlying causes to stress in their life. I am unlike most therapist because I am highly trained in different somatic approaches including Somatic Experiencing, where I incorporate my exceptional level of knowledge in neuroscience to therapy sessions. I am able to explain to you how your nervous system and brain functions when under physically and emotional stress, how this impacts your mental health, and how to heal from this in therapy. I'm trained in many approaches that are backed by years of research in the field, (cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), solution focused brief therapy, & Somatic Experiencing). I specialize in treating eating disorders, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and trauma in teens and adults. I do offer a free 15 min phone consult to see if we are a good fit and to answer any questions you may have. If you have a hectic schedule or a disability that differs you from meeting in-office I do provide live video therapy sessions via a HIPPA compliant system.
