Introduction

To evolve is a beautiful process and I am honored to work alongside of you collaboratively to assist you in achieving your goals. Heather is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio, who earned her Master of Arts from Ashland University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Psychology from Cleveland State University. Heather is trained in spiritual counseling and guidance, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Heather has several years of experience working in the mental health field with individuals of all ages. Heather’s experience includes working in private practice, inpatient psychiatric unit, grief counseling center, outpatient care, and in school counseling settings. Heather specializes in trauma treatment, play therapy, loss and bereavement, mood disorders, family systems therapy, marriage therapy, positive parenting training, relationship and social struggles, sport and performance anxiety, and treatment of anxiety and depression. Heather takes a mind-body approach to wellness, and believes that wholeness and healing of the heart, mind, soul, body, and spirit can truly be achieved safely through appropriate treatment. I look forward to helping you reach your goals, and will do so through empowerment, encouragement, treatment, guidance, and support. I genuinely believe that every person is capable of complete healing, regardless of past or present life circumstances.
