Introduction

Thank you for considering me to help you. The most important thing in predicting success in counseling is your relationship with the therapist. Connecting and creating a relationship with my clients is very important to me. My work as a telehealth therapist has been very rewarding as I am able to develop trust with clients who do not have to commute or arrange childcare to meet with me. I have found that the relationship and connection is as valuable as in person work. My Experience: -16 years professional experience, 11 in private practice. -Extensive training in birth trauma, infant loss and transition to parenthood, as well as perinatal mood disorders. -Experience working with clients through infertility as well as adoption and special needs children. -3 years of EMDR practice and supervision with a focus on developmental trauma. -6 years working with people who experienced domestic and sexual violence. Individual and group work as well as working in two domestic violence shelters.
