Introduction

Your counseling experience is just that- yours. My goal is to meet you where you are at in your own journey and gain understanding into your needs, strengths, supports and challenges. Together, we will build a therapeutic plan based on your desired outcomes. With over 10 years of experience working as a Licensed Professional Counselor in a high school and college setting, I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults and their families with concerns of depression, anxiety, self-esteem/self worth, family conflicts, grief and loss, LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy, relationship conflicts, motivation, parenting, career exploration and sports psychology. My approach is holistic- taking into account your identities, culture, race, and family background and how they come together to become you. My therapeutic approach is based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Positive Psychology and includes basic building blocks of the mind-body connection, social connection and physical well being. Fresh air, sunshine and movement are all part of a positive connection with the world around us. Walk and talk therapy is a part of my practice and is available to you!
