With over 18 years' experience, Heather is a highly accomplished Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor practicing in New Jersey. Heather possesses expertise working with adults across numerous mental health settings including Partial Care Programs, ICMS, Inpatient Hospitals, and Partial Hospital/Intensive Outpatient Programs. As a compassionate psychotherapist with an innate passion for helping others, she establishes an empathetic atmosphere that facilitates authentic self-exploration. Heather's therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a client-centered strengths-based perspective. She holds a deep understanding of depression, anxiety, interpersonal effectiveness, mood disorders, stress management, relationship issues, and substance use disorders. Heather’s down to earth therapeutic style ensures clients experience true compassion and empathy while exploring their most vulnerable selves. Current availability is via Telehealth only on Tuesdays 5pm-7:30pm & Fridays from 4:30pm-7pm. Other weekdays are limited though can be requested.
