Hayden Elmendorf (she/her) is a licensed clinical mental health counselor (LCMHC) specializing in psychotherapy for individuals at any stage of their life journey. Her practice aims to create a safe, collaborative, non-judgmental space to process, grow and heal from the immensity of challenges you may be facing. Hayden specializes in working with pregnant and postpartum individuals, women, and teens. Her philosophies align with attachment-based approaches, supporting those struggling to find their worth in the world and within their selves, as well as cultivating a trauma-informed space for healing. Hayden received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University in 2019. Hayden began her career in mental health as an advocate for survivors of sexual assault and for many years worked in mental health crisis intervention. She brings over 10 years of experience providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to adults, adolescents, and families in multiple treatment settings. Applying a Perinatal-DBT approach, Hayden's current clinical focus is supporting pregnant and postpartum individuals cope through and prepare for the challenges of new parenthood, and find grace and connection with their life changes.
