I completed my Master’s degree from Northeastern State University in School Counseling and worked as a School Counselor for seven years. Before this, I distinguished myself by serving in the United States Air Force, and after six years, I was honorably discharged. I am a licensed professional and nationally certified counselor (NCC). I use researched treatment methods and am EMDR Certified, an EMDR Cosultant, and a Registered Play Therapist. I utilize multiple evidence-based modalities but specialize in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy. I address problems ranging from depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other issues. I am a Veteran and was a school counselor for nearly a decade before transitioning into therapy. While I work with all populations, I truly enjoy working with First Responders and Veterans. These two groups are the true protectors of our community but are often overlooked for mental health assistance. First responders are often the first to the scene of a medical emergency or crisis. I am honored to work with our men and women in uniform.
