Hi, I’m Hannah! I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor located in Lakewood, Ohio with over six years of experience providing therapy to individuals. I believe therapy is a nonjudgmental space to be curious, explore who we are and clarify what truly matters to us. I am particularly passionate about supporting clients through significant life transitions, especially those marked by various types of loss. Navigating loss and change can be excruciating, yet these universal experiences connect us in our shared humanity and offer opportunities to rediscover what makes life worth living. I believe in our capacity to find a new way forward regardless of how difficult circumstances may seem. In addition, my areas of focus include anxiety and panic; grief, loss, and existential concerns; shame, loneliness, and self-esteem; college- and career-related challenges, and LGBTQ+ identities and experiences. I approach therapy from an existential lens, grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and feminist therapy principles. I have also received training in grief work and insomnia treatment (CBT-I). As a therapist, I value being collaborative and flexible; taking the time to understand who you are and what growth means to you. I take a non-pathologizing approach to mental health – recognizing that human suffering is often an understandable, adaptive response to the complicated world we live in. I look forward to potentially being part of your journey.
