I became a mental health counselor because of the life-changing care and support I received from my own counselor during my parents’ divorce as a child. From that moment, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in mental health. However, after graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder, I felt it was important to explore and learn about the world before taking that step. After several years, I decided to follow my passion and pursued a degree in counseling. I completed my graduate studies at Adams State University in Southern Colorado, which deepened my understanding of mental health and equipped me with the skills to guide others through their healing journeys. This spirit of exploration continues to influence my work as a counselor. Together, we’ll work toward achieving your personal goals using attachment principles, CBT, somatic techniques, and psychoeducational tools. Working with individuals who have experienced trauma is close to my heart, as I’ve had personal experiences with it. I understand the deep emotional and physical impacts trauma can have, shaping behaviors and relationships. My approach centers on creating a safe, compassionate space where you can process your experiences and move forward on your path to healing and wholeness.
