Welcome! I'm Haniya, a clinical social work trainee specializing in trauma, PTSD, and grief. While I have experience with trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, I incorporate somatic techniques with talk therapy to help the mind and body heal from trauma. These techniques have helped my clients with trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, and addiction. I have had the privilege of working with children, teens, and families navigating complex trauma, loss, and life transitions, including those recovering from domestic violence and abuse. My approach is rooted in compassion, cultural awareness, and a deep understanding of how trauma affects both the mind and body. As a Pakistani Muslim, I bring a unique perspective to my practice, recognizing the importance of cultural and spiritual values in the healing process. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals and families can explore their experiences, process their emotions, and work toward healing in a way that feels authentic and empowering. Whether you are seeking support for grief, trauma recovery, or life changes, I am here to walk with you on your journey to healing. My goal is to provide a supportive and collaborative environment that respects your individuality and embraces your authenticity. Feel free to reach out if you're ready to take the next step in your healing process—I'm here to help.
