As a clinician, it is my intention to create an environment where you feel safe, seen, and heard. I will listen. I will provide compassion. Most importantly, I will attempt to understand something about you, just as I hope you will give yourself permission to understand something about yourself. In therapy, I often ask questions and make observations that invite insight, as well as help you make connections between the family system and who you are as an individual. I also attempt to remain neutral, but, as a human, I may laugh with you in session, I’ll watch the tik tok you resonated with it, I’d love to see photos of your pets, and you’re welcome to tell me how your horoscope or recent tarot reading aligns with your current problem. Therapy is messy. Therapy is not linear. Therapy is a process. I’d be honored to be a part of yours.
