As a Latinx therapist and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I have shaped my practice around principles of inclusion, connection, and belonging. I value learning from the individuals I serve and aim to provide trauma-informed care that truly resonates with their experiences. I believe that developing a strong therapeutic connection is essential for effective treatment. As a neurodiversity-affirming therapist, I approach therapy with the understanding that Autism, ADHD, Tourette’s syndrome (TS), OCD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, and Dyspraxia are not "problems to be fixed or cured" but different neurotypes with unique needs, strengths, and challenges. My approach is client-centered and strength-based. We will focus on your sensory, emotional, communication, and physical needs to help you understand yourself better. As we navigate the therapeutic process together, I can help you explore ways you might have been "masking" throughout your life and develop strategies to communicate your needs to others while respecting yourself and your neurodivergent brain.
