Introduction

Hey there — I’m so glad you found your way here. I’m Grisell, a licensed therapist working with teens and adults who are ready to heal from the inside out. If you’ve felt stuck, disconnected, or like something’s just off, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. I bring a mind-body approach to therapy that goes beyond just talking, helping you tap into your body’s own wisdom and natural ability to heal (with a little guidance from me, of course). WHAT I OFFER I provide one-on-one sessions in a supportive, grounded, and judgment-free space—whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, a life transition, or just trying to feel like yourself again. Areas I support clients with include: • ADHD • Anxiety • Anxiety-driven digestive issues (IBS, chronic nausea, nervous stomach) • Bipolar I & II • Career & college transitions • Depression • Life changes • PMDD • Relational trauma • Relationship issues • Self-esteem & identity • Social anxiety • Trauma (big-T or little-t) • Women’s issues • Workplace stress HOW I WORK I take a holistic, collaborative approach to therapy—meaning we’ll look at your full picture: your history, your body, your environment, your intuition, and your goals. I blend science with softness, structure with soul. My work integrates: • Brainspotting (BSP) – a brain-body therapy that helps the nervous system process trauma and stuck emotions • CBT – tools to notice, challenge, and reframe unhelpful thought patterns • Mindfulness-based practices – to bring more awareness, calm, and presence into your daily life • Somatic strategies – to help you get out of your head and into your body, releasing tension and promoting real change I also collaborate with other wellness providers (think bodyworkers, doctors, nutritionists) when needed. Healing is rarely linear, and definitely not one-size-fits-all. WHAT TO EXPECT Therapy with me is collaborative, conversational, and sometimes even fun (yes, healing can have humor). I’ll meet you where you are, and together we’ll work through patterns that no longer serve you—whether that means easing anxiety, navigating burnout, healing trauma, or finally feeling like you can breathe again. WHO I WORK WELL WITH If you're a teen overwhelmed by school, social pressure, or anxiety—you’re not broken. You’re navigating a lot, and I’m here to help you feel more grounded and confident in who you are. If you’re an adult who's already tried talking it out but still feels stuck—maybe it’s time to go deeper. I love working with folks ready to reconnect with themselves, heal old wounds, and shift how they show up in their lives. WHY WORK WITH GÜD KARMA COUNSELING? This isn’t a big, clinical practice—it’s intentional, individualized care. Here’s what you can expect when we work together: • Full confidentiality and flexibility in your care • No diagnostic label required for self-pay clients • Quick responses between sessions when you need support • Space to feel truly seen, not just “treated” THE THERAPEUTIC RELATIONSHIP MATTERS The connection between us is everything. You deserve to work with someone who sees you fully, without judgment—someone who honors your story and believes in your capacity to heal. I show up as my real self, so you can too. INSURANCE + OUT-OF-NETWORK OPTIONS I’m in network with most major insurance providers—check my Services page for a full list. Not in network? No worries. I’ve partnered with Mentaya, a service that helps you access out-of-network benefits easily and get reimbursed for sessions. READY TO START? If you're ready to release what’s holding you back and step into something more grounded, calm, and connected—I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
