My clients tend to be adults living with grief/loss, changes, disabilities, illness, caregiving, mental health or physical health issues who want to find connection and healing while living in a demanding rigid society. They have experienced trauma and want to learn to use their brains and bodies to fully heal. They have a sense of humor and are open minded to using creative strategies within their life's journey. I am a licensed clinical social worker and worked for many years with those having to navigate both the medical and behavioral health system. I approach therapy knowing you are the expert in yourself. I use an eclectic approach focusing on your personal strengths and by incorporating your beliefs, creativity, lived experience, humor and place in society as a beginning to your healing. I am strongly committed to anti racism and social justice in all it's forms. I am not a member of any religious or spiritual group but have knowledge with various groups and a special interest in helping those who have experienced religious trauma.
