Introduction

BIO I hold multiple master's degrees and the highest licenses to practice therapy. I presented nationally with best practices and outcomes for substance use treatment and community reintegration, published research on peer support, and worked as a consultant and speaker as a leading expert for the nation in digital interventions in forensics. I served as a member of the South Carolina Air National Guard stationed out of McEntire AFB from 2016 - 2022 and deployed under Operation Enduring Freedom in 2012 while serving in the Army. I served in progressive leadership positions within Behavioral Health for the S.C. Dept. Of Corrections since 2016; most recently as the Division Director in 2019. I began as the Clinical Director for Recovery Centers of America in 2023 launching a new site breaking records for performance and quality of care. I volunteer time with the ACA and fundraising for NAMI. HOW I HELP With an educational background in clinical psychology and business, coupled with formal and informal training through the military, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my practice. My therapeutic style is cognitive behavioral based, but I draw on various interventions, all grounded in science, to tailor my approach to each client's unique needs. With a compassionate and empathetic approach, I strive to create a safe space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. My commitment to helping others navigate life's challenges is rooted in a deep understanding of the complexities of the human mind. Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse populations in schools, community treatment centers, corporate ventures, and forensics. My clients have successfully addressed issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, and addiction. I believe in the transformative power of self-discovery and work collaboratively with clients to explore insights that lead to personal growth and resilience. When you engage with me, you're not just accessing therapy; you're investing in a personalized roadmap to success, fulfillment, and a life that reflects your true potential. Beyond my clinical work, I am also passionate about leadership development and furthering the field through developing interns, managers, and directors in the civilian and military sectors. Continuous professional development is a cornerstone of my practice and a value that I carry forward as an Army and Air Force veteran, ensuring that I stay abreast of the latest research and therapeutic advancements. I am committed to providing ethical and culturally sensitive care, embracing diversity and inclusivity in my approach, and providing each client the best care.
