Through firsthand experiences, she deeply understands the fears, uncertainties, cultural adjustments, language barriers, social marginalization, and discrimination that come with moving to a new country. These personal experiences have ignited her unwavering commitment to advancing mental health awareness within the Latinx community. Counselor Grecia G. Delgado was born and raised in Mexico and relocated to Oak Cliff at a young age. The substantial move across countries gave her a profound understanding of the challenges associated with international migration. Through firsthand experiences, she deeply understands the fears, uncertainties, cultural adjustments, language barriers, social marginalization, and discrimination that come with moving to a new country. Grecia earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas and later obtained her Master of Science in Mental Health from the University of North Texas at Dallas. She has experience working as a therapist in non-profit organizations and private group practices, providing support to diverse populations in both English and Spanish. Her professional experience includes working with adolescents and adults who have faced trauma, violence, depression, abuse, and anxiety. In her free time, Grecia enjoys outdoor activities in nature and has an appreciation for romantic comedies. She is also passionate about reading, enjoying both romance novels and fantasy books. Additionally, she loves building book nooks, creating magical spaces that reflect her love for literature and imagination. Grecia Delgado Originaria de México, Grecia se trasladó a Dallas, Texas, a una edad temprana, lo que enriqueció su comprensión de dos culturas distintas.
