Hello and welcome! I wonder if you are experiencing a time of enduring, healing, exploring, or finding meaning – or, perhaps, are unsure of where you are. If that’s the case, you’re doing a great thing already! Searching for a therapist is taxing, yet important work. Here’s what might be helpful to know about me. I offer bilingual (English/Spanish) services and have experience with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in hospital and outpatient settings. My areas of experience include trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief and loss, couples/family issues, and life transitions. Some areas of special interest for me are: racial identity development, gender and sexuality, socio-political stress, immigrant/generational trauma, and spiritual concerns (including astrology). The space we share together is one of belonging; every part of you is welcome here. I bring humor, flexibility, and radical honesty to the therapy relationship. I aim to facilitate a space of curiosity that leads to deeper insight, awareness, and self-compassion to help bring meaningful change wherever you need in this season. I tend to draw our attention to what’s happening in the “here and now” during sessions to interrupt unhelpful patterns and craft new ones. I value collaboration, and often invite feedback to ensure your voice and purpose is at the center of all that we do.
