Introduction

Dr. Gilbert integrates several healing therapies that go "deeper" than traditional talk therapy. These include: EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization), Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, psychodrama, and art therapy techniques. She is an EMDR Approved Consultant and EMDR Certified Therapist, IFS Informed, and Level I-trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. Additionally, Dr. Gilbert is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), a Certified Clinical Partner Specialist (CCPS), and a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPPT). Dr. Gilbert specializes in betrayal trauma and facilitates online support groups for women whose partners may be struggling with infidelity or sex addiction. Dr. Gilbert treats trauma, including the stress, anxiety, grief, powerlessness, hopelessness, resentment, emptiness, shame, and/or sense of "not good enough" that we all may experience at various times in our lives.
