Before starting therapy, my clients typically feel stuck, lost, or overwhelmed. They often tell me they are good at masking it, so others don’t see what’s happening under the surface. Outwardly they may seem to "have it all together", but internally, they don’t feel like enough. Old patterns keep showing up, and wounds that they hoped would be left in the past are resurfacing. This may show up as people pleasing, burnout, perfectionism, anxiety, self-sabotaging, relationship concerns, or low self-esteem. If this sounds like you, know that I believe in your ability to live a life you find meaningful and fulfilling and am here to help you reconnect with your inherent sense of self-worth. My approach to therapy is collaborative, holistic and trauma-informed. I strive to create a space where you will be seen, heard, and feel safe to be unapologetically yourself. In session, you can expect that we will explore experiences from a place of curiosity and respect. Although therapy is hard work, it is also life transformational and we will likely laugh a bit along the way. One of the best indicators of client outcomes in therapy is the therapeutic relationship. My clients tell me I'm warm, kind, attentive, and ask thoughtful questions. Reach out if you're interested in working together and we can set up a free consultation to see if we'd be a good fit!
