I believe that therapy is a relational process where together we work toward helping you find self-compassion, growth, and healing. I am trained in a systems approach, meaning that I look at the individuals, couples, and families I work with as being part of a meaningful web of connection with others in their lives. I believe that our histories are important to our emotional work in the here and now, and that it is empowering to explore what we value to help create a roadmap to a more purposeful and wholehearted life. I work mainly from an attachment lens, using emotion-focused and experiential approaches. My style is warm, non-judgmental, and engaged. I may bring in mindfulness practices in our work together to learn feelings of safety, process feelings and events, and ease the impact that stress and trauma has on the body.
