Introduction

(To break the chains of the mind) Since 2015, George Calasa remains committed to providing compassionate and effective counseling and psychotherapy. Over the years, he has had the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals, couples, and groups, helping them navigate personal challenges and achieve meaningful growth. His experience spans a variety of treatment settings, including acute inpatient care, chemical dependency and dual diagnosis programs, residential treatment centers (RTC), partial hospitalization programs (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Additionally, George has established a successful private practice, offering tailored therapeutic services to meet the unique needs of his clients. With an understanding of the complexities of human behavior, George integrates an eclectic theoretical framework in his therapeutic approach, drawing from a variety of modalities to create a holistic treatment plan that resonates with each individual. He uses a person-centered approach, which emphasizes empathy, active listening, and a genuine desire to understand and support the client’s journey. This approach fosters a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can feel valued and empowered to explore their emotions and work through their concerns at their own pace. Licensed in California, Nevada, and Idaho, George offers telehealth counseling, expanding access to support for clients across locations. In addition to his general practice, he offers Christian-based counseling upon request, allowing those clients who seek spiritual guidance to integrate their faith into their therapeutic process. George’s dedication to each client’s well-being, combined with his broad experience and versatile approach, allows him to effectively assist people in overcoming obstacles and achieving lasting personal transformation.
