We all have many layers of past experience that affect our present feelings, sense of self-worth and relationships. Therapy is a unique experience where we can explore these connections, develop greater self-awareness and make meaningful changes. I work closely with my clients to help you develop a greater sense of self-agency so that you can address feelings of depression, anxiety, stress or loss directly, and move forward. I have a genuine interest in how people have developed their personal and relational patterns and I look forward to hearing your story and helping you make positive changes in your life. Although I work primarily from a Psychodynamic perspective, I incorporate different theories to best meet the unique needs of my clients, while maintaining flexibility and balance. These include: Humanistic, Person-Centered, Family Systems and Compassion-focused theories. I have special interests/training in mindfulness, yoga, self-compassion, health, vulnerability, relationships, attachment, parenting and early childhood development. My primary focus with you is on developing a safe, trusting and caring therapeutic relationship where we can collaborate together to help you achieve the changes you desire. I strongly believe that the support, trust and guidance that develop in the therapeutic relationship are essential factors in personal growth.
