Hello, My name is Garrett Price. I believe in seeing people as more than just their conditions. You are not your diagnosis, your loss, or your thoughts, feelings, or actions. You are the wonderful mystery behind your eyes, experiencing this journey we call life. It can be challenging at times, and having a guide can be invaluable. That's the essence of Trailhead: a place where you can find a friendly ear, learn new skills, train your mind, integrate your brain, strengthen your soul, and discover your way forward. In my view, what we often label as mental illness, suffering, or grief boils down to two key elements. Firstly, our minds sometimes misinterpret information, leading us to unhelpful conclusions about our lives. Secondly, many of us have an unhealthy relationship with our thoughts, feelings, and actions. At Trailhead, we use brain change techniques that promote natural, inside-out healing by strengthening the integration of your prefrontal cortex, default mode network, limbic system, and brain stem. This approach ensures the transformation is enduring. I aim to make your time with me valuable, guiding you towards a path of healing that leaves you satisfied with your achievements. I offer in-person and online sessions. If you're concerned about the technical aspect, rest assured, the software I use is secure, user-friendly, and easy to master. Below, you'll find links detailing the technologies I use to facilitate rapid and significant life changes. Don't hesitate to reach out with your questions. I look forward to meeting you at the trailhead of your journey. About me: I've spent my 40-odd years of life in Idaho. I've been happily married for 20 years and have two daughters. I love my family, mountain biking, reading, sci-fi, spirituality, art, and video games. My calling to help others emerged in my early 20s while caring for my dying grandmother. This profound experience sparked a desire to learn about care, leading me to train as a minister and work with youth. The birth and loss of our beautiful baby boy heightened my desire to help others, which led me to pursue a master's degree in spiritual formation and clinical counseling. I've primarily worked in hospice care, helping bring peace to those at the end of their lives and healing to their families. As a lifelong learner, I enjoy studying the brain, grief, trauma, depression, and anxiety, as well as the skills and techniques that foster real and lasting change. I've discovered cutting-edge techniques effective in facilitating rapid and significant healing. My life's work is to help people find their worth by training their minds, strengthening their brains, teaching them to manage their thoughts and feelings, and empowering them to take actions aligned with their values.
