Introduction

Hello. I'm Dr. Gabriel Pagan-Llorens from UCF Athletics Sports Psychologist. Dr. Gabriel is a bilingual (Spanish & English) licensed psychologist with over 10 years of experience. UCF sports psychology is dedicated to understanding the intricate relationship between athletic performance and mental well-being. By combining principles from psychology, sociology, and education, I work with athletes to identify and overcome mental obstacles that hinder their success. Whether it's developing strategies to manage stress and anxiety, building confidence and resilience, or enhancing teamwork and communication skills, my goal is to empower athletes to reach their full potential and achieve their goals. Through a collaborative approach that incorporates evidence-based techniques, mindfulness practices, and sport-specific training, I help athletes unlock untaped potential and achieve sustained success in their respective sports and life.
