Introduction

Thank you for being here and looking into therapy! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, located in Southern California but offer teleheath (video) sessions all throughout California. I have been practicing since 2017, and work with individuals (teens, young adults, and adults) and couples, within the community mental health and private practice setting. My approach to therapy consists of an eclectic background, as individuals we are complex and not ‘one size fits all.’ I have a background in working with children, couples, and individuals, of diverse backgrounds. I aspire to help individuals of all backgrounds confront current life stressors, past trauma, and relationship struggles. To do so, I emphasize creating a safe and open environment, while providing psychoeducation, coping skills, tailored to individual treatment. I believe that all individuals have the strength within themselves to live a fulfilling life with strong connection to self and others. My areas of focus consist of anxiety, family conflict, trauma, life changes/stressors, perfectionism, emotional regulation, self-love/esteem, depressive symptoms, and setting boundaries within relationships. With this, I often implement CBT, mindfulness, and talk therapy with a heart aspect to help the heart be heard to work towards healing and change. Also, I am trained in EMDR to focus on trauma.
