Introduction

Forward Interventions offers Psychotherapeutic, Behavioral, and Educational Services to children, adolescents, adults and families. We are a home or school bound and onsite clinical practice with a strong culturally-sensitive and strength-based approach located in Edison NJ. In-home services take place at the family’s home and these services are reimbursed by Medicaid. Families do not have to pay for services. Clinical and Behavioral interventions are provided by licensed professionals. Other mental health professionals providing direct services to families and children are licensed and practice within the scope of their license and/or receive direct clinical supervision. Forward Interventions aims to ensure that individuals and families have access to mental health and/or educational services. Our goal is to deliver quality mental health treatment to children, individuals and families and also equip them with necessary resources once treatment goals have been attained. COUNSELING / PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC SERVICES: • Child, Adolescents, Adults and Family Psychotherapy • Cognitive-Behavioral and Dialectical Interventions • Child, Adolescent and Adult Treatment for Autism • Child, Adolescent and Adult Behavioral Interventions • Co-parenting and Parenting Coaching / Training • Management of Anxiety and ADHD • Trauma-Infused Treatment • Crisis Interventions • Mindfulness EDUCATIONAL SERVICES: These services are tailored to support students' social emotional, behavioral and academic functioning. The goal of this program component is to support families during difficult school processes and enhance family/school communication and support. These services are provided by Educational Practitioners licensed in the state of NJ. Forward Interventions & Learning offers the following services: • Educational consultation • Child Study Team assessment • Child Study Team mediation • Advocacy and diagnostic testing • Special Education Transition • Our agency support parents and students during the identification, classification and placement processes. Bringing these programs and interventions to the same practice is possible through Dr. Alain Mollinedo. He is the Executive / Clinical Director and he is also a treating clinician. Dr. Mollinedo has over 20 years of Clinical and Educational Practice in the State of NJ. Currently, Dr. Mollinedo is actively pursuing to become licensed as a Behavior Analyst in the state of NJ.
