I would like to take a moment to commend you for taking the important step of seeking the support you deserve. It’s completely normal for the process of seeking mental health counseling to feel intimidating, unfamiliar, or uncomfortable—these feelings are valid. You might also feel a sense of excitement, which is something to celebrate as well. Give yourself credit for taking this step.
