Introduction

Hello! I am so glad you are here! I’m Dr. Felishatee Rodriguez, a licensed professional counselor with 10+ years of experience in the field, I use a trauma-informed lens to help clients who are struggling with Trauma/PTSD. My approach acknowledges the profound impact of early life adversity and attachment disruptions on your life. I understand that complex trauma shapes the coping strategies developed for survival. Instead of asking, “What’s wrong with you?” I operate from a framework of cultural humility, and I am interested in learning about your lived experiences and cultivated strengths. I specialize in helping adults navigate the complexities of trauma, anxiety, depression, college life, racial/ethnic/gender identities, and major life transitions. Our work uncovers your innate drive toward growth and healing. I approach all your human parts with compassion, even those stuck in fight, flight, freeze, or fawn responses. I prioritize your pace and focus on building a sense of safety and trust in our relationship. You have choices in how we proceed, and we will work together to understand your needs and goals. I remain attentive to any signs of feeling destabilized, respecting boundaries and inner wisdom about what feels right. If you are ready to start your counseling journey, contact me to arrange a free video/phone consultation. This first appointment represents your dedication to personal flourishing on your unique journey ahead. Available appointment times include virtual sessions Monday through Thursday 10am-7pm. I welcome clients with in-network insurance coverage, out-of-network benefits needing reimbursement, and private self-pay options. Reach out today so we can discuss the possibility of working together during this transitional phase of your personal journey.
