Introduction
Dr. Faye Kouimelis is owner and primary clinician at Two Trees Therapy Services has over 17 years of clinical experience working with people with mental health struggles. Dr. Faye is a licensed psychologist and occupational therapist. Dr. Faye has a wide range of experience in the mental health field and currently focuses her practice on trauma and developmental disabilities. She treats both children and adults, and is one of the few therapists in Colorado that sees children as a young as two-years old. She works with children using client-centered, play therapy to treat trauma, behavioral difficulties, autism/developmental disabilities, and psychosis. Children communicate trauma and other internal experiences through play, which is why play therapy is the primary approach to psychological treatment.
