Introduction

Hello! I'm Farah Mohamoud, a first-generation Somali-American, Black, Muslim individual hailing from the South. I specialize in addressing a range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, family dynamics, internalized racism and sexism, grief and loss, self-esteem, and trauma. My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from diverse theories and techniques to empower my clients in gaining self-awareness, navigating the effects of shame and guilt, and discovering spiritual fulfillment. The best spiritual practice is existing. This simple yet profound truth underpins my therapeutic approach. By learning to be fully present and embracing the richness of each moment, we can uncover the strength, resilience, and insight needed to overcome obstacles and cultivate a more fulfilling life. An authentic and supportive bond with you is at the core of my practice. I foster an environment of compassion and respect, where you are encouraged to share thoughts, emotions, and experiences without concern of judgment. I wholeheartedly believe in the transformative power of embracing the present moment. In a world that often encourages us to look outward for answers, I invite you to turn inward and reconnect with the wisdom that resides within you. With a background in economics and a passion for holistic well-being, I am committed to helping you navigate life's challenges by fostering a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you. I am here to provide a nurturing space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. Together, we will uncover the tools you need to embark on a path of growth, resilience, and authentic living. We are life's longing for itself. I'm here to walk next to you on a journey of self-discovery, growth, and conscious living. I understand that life's challenges can often leave us feeling disconnected and overwhelmed. I bring a wealth of life experience, a heart-centered approach, and authenticity to our therapeutic journey. I'm here to walk next to you on a journey of self-discovery, growth, and conscious living.
