Introduction

I view my role as a therapist much like that of a guide as well as a teacher. I work to help clients build and maintain the necessary tools they already have existing within themselves and lead clients to new discoveries of living life in a more balanced way. Through utilizing existing tools, as well as learning new possibilities of living, clients are able to reach their full potential for prolonged success. The foundational approaches I choose to work from are person centered, and mindfulness based. I also utilize experiential forms of therapy. I specialize in working with life transitions, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, substance abuse/addiction, spiritual identity, and helping to develop coping mechanisms/tools to reduce stress. I work with both men and women, young adults, and adults. Finding the right counselor can be a difficult process. I want to make sure we are going to be a good fit and that's why I offer a free 15min initial phone consultation. I look forward to working with you.
