Eve holds a Master of Art degree in Counseling with specialization in Clinical Mental Health. She is currently working on her doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Eve is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. Among her areas of training and experience are the treatment of anxiety, depression, mood disorders, complex trauma, PTSD, dissociative disorders, helping those in the helping profession, and women’s issues. Eve uses the more traditional treatment modalities, as well as somatic, psychodynamic, feminism orientation, neuropsychology, and evolutionary psychology. Also, she is fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR is a powerful psychotherapy method to help individuals heal from trauma and other negative life experiences. Eve finds being genuine and personable are honorable traits to build relationships. Successful therapy begins with building a strong therapeutic alliance. Goals are important to unveil the person’s fullest potential. However, staying beside someone during challenging times is a powerful source of comfort and equally important. _____________________________________________________ Megan is a master’s level intern in Clinical Mental Health, finishing her graduate program with fieldwork. She uses an integration of holistic health and wellness, using yoga and exercise. Working with an intern can be beneficial, as it can offer clients reduced costs for self-pay. Also, interns are supervised, so a more seasoned mental health professional works with the intern outside of sessions.
