Introduction

My name is Eve Schutt (pronounced shoot). My job is to work myself out of a job and I do that by teaching skills so that you can cope with whatever life situations are occurring or have occurred. I focus on building resiliency and increasing capacity to cope with life's issues. My style is a gentle approach using a combination of CBT, Somatic Experiencing, and DBT, and direct skills teaching to mitigate symptoms. I believe strongly in the mind body connection. I serve individual adults who have mental health symptoms including chronic long term issues that are rooted in trauma. I have been in the mental health field since 1990 starting my career in Juneau, Alaska. I have a 24 year history working for community mental health clinics and in 2014 I opened my own private practice in Stevens County, WA. I serve those located in rural NorthEastern Washington State.
