Introduction

I am a clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience in cognitive, behavioral, and mindfulness-based treatments, including cognitive therapy, CBT, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as customized integrations of cognitive, behavioral and mindfulness approaches. In fact, I conducted some of the groundbreaking research evaluating the differences and similarities between, and mechanisms of, traditional CBT and ACT. I have particular specialties in treating insomnia, depression and anxiety, including social anxiety, panic, PTSD, blood/injury phobia, and OCD. I also specialize in weight loss and binge eating treatments. In addition, I use have successfully helped dozens of people reconnect with their core values, and improve the quality of their relationships and well-being. I conduct thorough intake evaluations and use sophisticated methods for building a comprehensive conceptualization unique to each individual, and use this conceptualization to develop a personalized treatment. I pride myself in using the most cutting edge, science-based therapeutic approaches in order to get the very best outcome for every client. I put intense effort into building a strong therapeutic relationship, and work hard to help my clients meet their life goals.
