Introduction

I would like to start by expressing my gratitude for finding yourself here, and considering Lariat as part of your journey. I want to share what starting this practice has meant to me. The lariat, or lasso, is a rope. It is a strong line and versatile tool. It is a tether. This practice is dedicated in memory of my sister, Emily Anne, who believed you can "lasso the moon daily." The experience of overcoming our challenges may feel as impossible as lassoing the actual moon. I would like to collaborate on a therapeutic experience, utilizing evidence based treatment as a tool, that will support you in finding your potential and walking your journey. The pursuit of transformation is both challenging and rewarding, but it is in the journey where we find growth, meaning, and purpose. To lasso the moon daily, is to tether ourselves and hold a strong line to these truths, as we journey through each of our own pursuits and achieve things we once believed to feel impossible. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 15 years of mental health experience, having earned my Master's degree in Community Counseling from Slippery Rock University. I provide services throughout the state of Pennsylvania. Currently, I work with adults ages 18 to 65 years old to address issues with anxiety, depression, OCD, life adjustments, and trauma. I would describe my style as eclectic, collaborative, and client centered.
