Specialties: Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Panic Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Depression,

Introduction

I am trained and licensed to treat individuals across the lifespan with specialized experience working with older children, adolescents, and adults. Treatment begins with an initial assessment to gain insight into you are and what brings you to treatment. We all may struggle to fully understand ourselves and our core challenges and patterns that may be impacting us adversely. Together, through thoughtful exploration, we will work to develop a shared understanding of these challenges and what underlies them. This shared understanding helps us to focus your treatment and guide you in achieving meaningful psychological change. I provide psychotherapy and medication management as individual treatment or in combination. Conscientious prescribing of medication can be effective as an adjunct to psychotherapy, when it is indicated. We may work together in starting medication, adjusting and optimizing current medication treatment, or discontinuing medication safely. If we choose to begin working together, our first step will be to determine an agreed upon understanding of the purpose of treatment and on our approach to fulfilling this purpose. If you think I can be helpful to you or your child/teen, I welcome you to write or call to schedule a brief phone consultation to explore if I am the right provider for you.
