My role as a therapist is to guide you through exploring what beliefs and past events have led to you feeling this way, assisting you in safely processing through and releasing these lingering emotions, and teaching alternative and compassionate ways to cope with stress and triggers, so that you can be more satisfied with your life. I specialize in helping people work through anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and distress/dysfunction related to past trauma through EMDR (an evidence-based type of therapy). I also utilize Internal Family Systems techniques to help people accept all parts of themselves, so they no longer have to feel at war with themselves.
