Are you looking for a therapist who is forthright and sometimes funny? I am a welcoming and accepting person with whom no topic or feeling is taboo. Several of my clients have told me that being open and non-judgmental are some of my strengths. My practice and my continuing education focus on topics that relate to intimate partner relationships and sexual expression. I have experience with a variety of gender, sexual and consensual relationship identities, including: LGBTQIA+, polyamory, ENM, monogamy and heterosexuality. I use an eclectic approach that borrows from several evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, MI, ACT). Sometimes we will work from the outside in, by learning new skills or working to change things around you. Sometimes we will work from the inside out, by unraveling and understanding how the past is influencing the present. If this sounds like a good fit for you and what you would like to work on, I am looking forward to hearing from you.
