Erin Osanna-Barba

Behavioral health therapy Erin Osanna-Barba
Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Abuse Survivors, Eating Disorders,

Introduction

I understand how difficult and scary it may be to speak openly with a therapist. I feel privileged when a client chooses me to do this work with. My prior experience with crisis intervention, interpersonal violence, trauma, grief, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder through work as a Rape Crisis and Domestic Violence Counselor, Crime Victim’s Advocate within the criminal court system, Director of a sexual assault program on a college campus, and primary therapist at an outpatient eating disorder treatment center has helped me to be trauma-informed and skilled at creating a safe space for clients. I see clients who need support in various stages of life, who are experiencing difficult situations and transitions. I specialize in working with clients with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship conflict, trauma (current and childhood), eating disorders, and negative body image. I am straight forward, interactive, and use compassion and empathy to challenge clients. I am genuine with a sense of humor and will work with you to achieve your goals. I am passionate about helping clients who are on their path to wellness and happiness. I respect my clients for entrusting me in the therapeutic process. I look forward to providing opportunity for you to explore your thoughts, values, and past experiences and become the person you want to be.
