My name is Erin Kelley and I’m glad you’re taking this step forward in your life. Whether this is your first time looking for a therapist or your fifteenth, you are welcome here. I recognize that healing is a non-linear process and it is courageous of you to seek this new beginning. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, direct, and unconditionally caring. I utilize a person-centered approach incorporating trauma-informed principles and a harm-reduction lens. I seek to foster brave spaces for deep transformation to take place, where laughter and tears are welcomed to flow freely. Some therapeutic modalities that I incorporate include polyvagal theory, EMDR, attachment theory, DBT, and somatic-based processing. These theories are guideposts of my clinical judgment, but ultimately I recognize you as the expert of your own lived experience. My personal mental health journey has been body-based involving yoga, mindfulness, western herbalism, and talk therapy. I take a non-pathologizing stance on mental health that recognizes the systems that we all navigate that impact our well-being. Whether it's the complexities of late-stage capitalism or your unique intersectional identity, understanding how these contexts impact your lived experience is crucial for meaningful change. Being your authentic self is key to your empowerment and liberation. I'll assist you in recognizing and addressing cycles and patterns that no longer serve you, supporting you in embracing the messy, beautiful journey of returning to the true you. Together, we'll uncover the courage, resilience, and wisdom that lie within you, guiding you toward a future filled with hope, possibility, and newfound strength. Outside of our sessions, you'll often find me in my garden or the woods, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. I'm a firm believer in the restorative power of nature and the joy of sharing a meal with loved ones. I also enjoy spending quality time with my partner and our floofs, Tato and Patchouli. I invite you to reach out if you resonate with what has been shared here to see if we could be a good therapeutic match and embark on this brave and beautiful path of healing together.
