I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelors and Masters in Social Work with a concentration in mental health from The University of Texas at Arlington. I am also the mother of two adolescent girls and an 8-year-old son. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults with mental health and addiction issues for many years. I utilize solution-focused counseling and CBT and DBT in my approach with patients individually. I believe every experience in life has a purpose. Nothing happens by chance. Failure, conflict or ending a relationship isn’t meant to break us but to provide valuable lessons for us to learn, grow, gain insight, become stronger and live happier. I can support and guide you in your search for the inner strength needed to regain your sense of control, purpose and joy. Together we can work on self-esteem, self-sabotaging thoughts, insecurities, anger, family conflict, life transitions, anxiety and depression. As you learn new skills, you gain the confidence to pursue goals, work on relationships and create a more positive future for yourself.
