I’m Erin, a licensed counselor in both Kansas and Missouri. I am passionate about working with teens, women, couples, and members of the LGBTQ+ community who are dealing with anxiety, life transitions, boundaries, childhood trauma, family conflicts, self-love, and reclaiming control of their lives. I am committed to providing affirming and inclusive support to individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities. In our sessions, we will focus on emotional processing by helping you identify, understand, and feel your emotions. While I bring mental health expertise we will work collaboratively, with you guiding our understanding of your experiences e. You will have control in our sessions, deciding each week what to focus on. This will be a long-term journey of exploration and healing. Although we will address short-term stressors, this process is not a quick fix and will take time. I am trained in the renowned Gottman Method, a research-based approach to couples therapy that emphasizes building stronger connections and improving communication. I also have specialized training in Maternal Mental Health, enabling me to support individuals and families through the unique challenges of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood. In my practice, I offer a safe and inclusive space for clients to explore and process life events, fostering a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship. Drawing on evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), emotion-focused therapy, mindfulness, and a feminist perspective, I strive to help clients develop coping strategies, gain insights, and achieve their therapeutic goals.
